When I had my children, I knew I wanted a different education for them, something more than public school could provide.  I began with homeschooling them and then I discovered the Montessori method of teaching. I became Montessori certified and taught in a Montessori school for 14 years. I have spoken at a Montessori Conference and taught Language class for United Montessori Schools of Indiana.  During my time in the classroom I came to realize that when children are outside, most of their difficulties fell away. Children learned to work and play together without adult intervention.  I knew I wanted to combine nature with Montessori.  I feel this lays the best foundation for a child's future learning.
